Pure Ice No Means No & Color Club Wild at Heart

A pretty red-toned purple.  It glows.

I stamped over it with Color Club Wild at Heart but the colors were too similar and the stamping was hard to see.

Cirque Vaudeville

The second of the four amazing Cirques sent to me by wonderful Barb!
Vaudeville is lilac and girly and has gold shimmer in it.  I've been wearing this for days now, and no tipwear.  Wow.

Cirque Fascination Street.

My BFF Barb gave me four (!) polishes from Cirque for my birthday. I've never worn this brand before but the formula is amazing!  The only problem is I don't want to take it off.

Up Colors Azul Disco

The perfect faded denim blue, and it lasts forever.

Guest nails: Barb's skittles

I sort of lost track of what most of these are, but they include A England Princess Sabra and Princess Tears, Lilacquer Blueberry Pi, and I'm pretty sure the sparkly left hand pinkie is Kleancolor Chunky Holo Black over China Glaze Rainstorm. Wow.

China Glaze Rainstorm

Three coats, as it's very sheer. I'd like to see how this looks layered over greens and teals.

Contrary Polish, Anna Maria

I have fallen down the green polish rabbit hole! I like it here.

Hare Polish Ancient Affairs

Wow, I understand the hype for this brand now. I wore this to work yesterday and one of our customers was mesmerized watching my hands while I typed in a request. He said there was a car this color.

Butter London Knees Up

Lent to me by a wonderful coworker. Pictures can't do this justice, it glows.

Essence Gorgeous Bling Bling

Tomato soup red with tiny gold flakes. The formula was very easy to work with.

Color Club Wild at Heart

Indoors it looks dark purple, almost black.  In the sun, it turns amazing.

Essie School of Hard Rocks + OPI I Juggle Men

A little darker and bolder than what I usually go for, but I ended up liking it a lot, and I even got compliments on it.

Essie Demure Vixen

Posed with my ever-present Game of Thones book of the moment (I think this was "the red one with the cup on it")
I love this color but it disturbs me a little.  But in a good way.

HITS Mari Moon "Cutie Pie"

Just a few quick shots of my weekend polish before I take it off and put on something demure for work:
I think this is three coats, it's kind of sheer.
I love the vivid blue flash this gives off at certain angles.

Layla "Flash Black" and a kitty

You've probably seen this color before.  I think it looks great next to a kitty.

I love the dark gray and peachy rainbow contrast!  Layla has new holographic colors coming out, this could become a series.

Aren't kitties great?

Essence "A Lovely Secret"

Either this color is impossible to capture with a camera, or I need to actually learn how to use Photoshop.  It's warmer toned and more vivid than it looks here.

It's got tiny little sparkles _and_ dark flecks.  Oh lovely.  Also the shade matches my favorite Space Princess so perfectly, I might need to try some nail art in tribute.  Or maybe just stamp it with something shiny and blue.  Or all of the above.  This tiny little bottle cost 99 cents at Ulta, I have a love-hate thing with Ulta but what can you do.  Write strongly-worded complaint letters?

My first indie, Maisie Shine "Fantasia"

First indie polish I ever bought: Fantasia by Maisie Shine.
So easy to work with.  So blue.

I like it so much I went back and ordered a full sized bottle after getting the mini.

I don't like glitter, but I like this glitter.  Maybe it's a gateway glitter.

Inaugural post: Nubar "Boyfriend Jeans" with stuff on it

Welcome to Nail Party!

For our inaugural post we have a photo of Nubar Boyfriend Jeans (not too light, not too dark, JUST RIGHT BLUE) with different top coats because I was feeling experimental.  This picture is a month or so old so I can only remember 4 out of the 5 topcoats.

Thumb: CND Crimson Sparkle
Pointer: HITS Hefesto
Middle: can't remember, it's too brush-strokey anyway, ugh
Ring: OPI I Juggle Men
Pinky: INM Northern Lights

It's not a competition, but I think my favorite is the Northern Lights.  I do like how the Crimson Sparkle contrasts with the blue without looking too purple.  Anyway, hooray for colors!  Someday I might re-swatch the Nubar in natural/better light, it is such a nice blue.

Comments are open, I think.  Thank you for stopping by!
